Maura McCann (née Irwin) passed away on Sunday, 28th January 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Liam, parents Molly and Packie, grandson Joshua, sisters Kitty, Helen and Babby, brothers, Willie, Jim and Kevin in infancy
Deeply regretted by her children, Eilish, Paddy, Marie, Siobhan, Michelle and Shauna and their partners. Always remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by her brothers, Paddy, Gerry and Brendan, nieces, nephews, extended family and wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her home in Bree on Monday and Tuesday from 3 pm to 8 pm with removal on Wednesday morning at 10:45 am via Thomas Street and Church Street for requiem mass at 11:30 am in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney with burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery where Maura will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Liam.
