Michael Whelan passed away on Tuesday, 23rd January 2024, peacefully at his residence.
Predeceased by his wife Peggy, daughters Elaine and Sandie.
Sadly missed by his loving sons Anthony (Sarah) and Eric (Jennifer), sister Phylis, grandchildren Glen, Ava, Georgina, Ruby, Sophie, Abbie and Emily, nieces, nephews, extended family, his good friends David, Jenny and Padraic, good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence on Friday 26th January from 10am - 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to arrive at The Church of Mary Immaculate, Virginia for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Funeral afterwards to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
