Paddy Burns died on Thursday, 21st March 2024, in his 93rd year. Peacefully, at his home, surrounded by his cherished family.
Predeceased by his parents; James & Katie, his sisters; Madge & Kathleen and his brother Noel.
Sadly missed and remembered with love by his beloved family; his wife May, his sons; Martin & Pat and his daughters; Catriona & Breda, his daughters-in-law; Siobhán & Catheriona and his sons-in-law; Declan McCaul & Tony Martin, his much-loved grandchildren; Oisín, Cian, Conor, Fionn, Patrick, Garreth, Brendan, Alannah, Ben, Maria, Eoin, Eimear, Micheál, Jenna, Ruby, AJ, Aaron & Esmay, his sister Nora McBride, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.
Paddy will repose at his home, Corcrin (A81 R280) on Saturday, 23rd March, and on Sunday, 24th March, from 3pm until 8pm. For the duration of the wake a 'one way' system will be in operation, please approach Paddy's home from the Dundalk Road and exit via Lisanisk. Funeral signs mark the route.
Paddy's funeral cortège will leave his home on Monday, 25th March, driving via Dundalk Road, proceeding on foot via Farney Street, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
