Sacred Heart Convent, Ballybay, and formerly Seskin, Tinahely, Co Wicklow.  She also served the community in Ballybay, Templeogue, Tamworth and Coventry.

Sr. Anna Marie Byrne passed away on Tuesday, April 23rd, in her 95th year.   Peacefully in the tender loving care of the nurses and staff of St, Anne’s Nursing Home, Ballybay, Co Monaghan.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Minnie, her sisters and brothers, Kevin, Maura, Eileen, Lar, Johnny, Sheila, Peg, Joe, Jane, Nick, Ger and her brothers and sisters in law.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews, great grand nieces and nephews, extended family, and her religious community, Daughters of our Lady of the Sacred Heart Convent and her many friends.

Sr Anna Marie will repose in the Convent Chapel Ballybay on Friday afternoon from 3pm until removal at 6:40pm to arrive St Patrick’s Church Ballybay for reception prayers at 7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday morning at 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
