Terence (Terry) Rooney died on Friday, 15th March 2024, peacefully in the loving care of his family at Altnagelvin Hospital.
Predeceased by his wife Maureen and his parents; Dan and Tessie.
Dearly beloved father of Evelyn (Malachy), Carmel (Sean), Paula (Patsy), Ciaran (Caroline) and Cathal (Emma). A much loved grandfather to Donal, Niall, Eimear, Gary, Elisha, Cerian, Jenna, Charlie, Eire, Harry and Noah. A dearly loved brother of Danny, Patricia, Kathleen, Teresa and Sally.
Terry will repose at Swift & McCaffrey Funeral Home, Brookeborough Road, Lisnaskea this evening (Fri) from 8pm, concluding with prayers at 9pm, followed by removal to his home. Terry will repose at his home Saturday (16th March) from 2pm until 10pm and again on Sunday (17th March) from 2pm until 10pm. Removal on Monday morning at 10am to arrive at St. Tierney’s Church, Roslea for funeral mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Please note: a one-way system will be in operation with entry via Eshnadarragh Road and exit via Drumshancorrick Road.
Family flowers only please, donations if so desired to the upkeep of St Tierney’s Church c/o Aidan Connolly Funeral Director, any family member or by donation box. Terry’s funeral mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/roslea.
Deeply regretted by his Daughters, Sons, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sisters and large circle of family and friends.
