The Acute Psychiatric Unit at Cavan General Hospital is closed to admissions and visitors due to an outbreak of Covid-19.
In a stament to Northen Sound, the hospital confirmed that a public health risk assessment has been carried out to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all residents and staff.

The hospital added that further updates will issue as the situation evolves.
