The Cathaoirleach of Monaghan County Council says more clarity on vaccine supplies will prevent GPs needing to cancel clinics.
Colm Carthy was speaking at it emerged that some people due to get vaccinated this week had their appointments rescheduled at short notice because of underdeliveries.
He said he accepts that there are delays in getting doses from manufacturers, but the current HSE model is setting people up for disappointment and is being seen across the country.
