The McCarren's meat processing facility in Cavan has closed for a week due to a Covid outbreak.
A number of cases have been confirmed in the facility and it was closed to prevent further spread.
It's understood a letter was issued to staff informing them of the decision.

Kepak, which owns the McCarren's brand, has not responded to a request for comment.
Around 250 people are employed at the Cavan site.
