The incident occurred shortly after 3 am this morning. The collision, between a truck and a car.

The Curr Road between Omagh and Ballygawley was closed yesterday evening following a two-vehicle crash.

This represents the largest number of fatalities since 2017.

The female driver of the car, a woman aged in her 80’s, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of the fatal collision shortly after 3pm yesterday afternoon.

Two other women, one in her 30s and the other in her 50s, were taken to Cavan General Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

A woman in her 50s died in the single vehicle collision on the Roslea Road last Monday.

The collision occurred at around 9pm in the townland of Coras Point.
