The Magheracloone native says weather models suggest milder wetter weather pushing in from Wednesday.

Later Wednesday and on Thursday, Storm Ciaran is set to bring falls of heavy rain and strong winds.

South-westerly winds this evening will potentially have the biggest impacts to the Shannonside Northern Sound region.

It is set to remain cold over the next few days with sub-zero temperatures at night.

But it will be short-lived and temperatures will reduce tomorrow.
